As a result of the flood on the rivers in the mountains of China’s southwestern province of Sichuan, tourists were killed – they were washed away by a stream of water.
So, yesterday, August 13, four people died on one of the mountain rivers, and nine more were injured. All the wounded were hospitalized. At the same time, the number of victims is not final, the search continues.
It is known that yesterday, meteorologists issued a warning about the deterioration of the weather in the vicinity of Longmenshan in Pengzhou County. Local authorities organized patrols and groups of volunteers who were supposed to warn tourists relaxing in the Longcaogou Landscape Park to urgently evacuate.
However, an hour later it became known that a sudden strong flood washed away several tourists. Rescuers, police, and paramedics went to the scene.
