Tourists stumbled upon a creepy discovery on the beach of the town of Puerto de Mazarron in the Spanish province of Murcia. They discovered a two-meter shark with a bloody mouth.
Law enforcement officers who arrived at the scene tried to calm the tourists and convince them that the shark had not eaten anyone. On the contrary, the predator itself got into trouble in shallow water and received serious injuries.
Although “members of the public” tried to push the predator back into the sea, her injuries turned out to be incompatible with life. As a result, the 200-kilogram shark was taken to a landfill for disposal.
According to the veterinary service, a mako shark washed ashore. By the way, this species of animal is classified as endangered. Moreover, these sharks are considered one of the most aggressive species.
