According to the Greek edition of Rodiaki, on the island of Rhodes (Greece) yesterday, May 29, a British tourist was killed by lightning.
A 26-year-old man went swimming in the sea at Agati Beach during a thunderstorm, ignoring the warnings of other vacationers. Lightning struck him in the water.
The victim was pulled to land by vacationers, who called rescuers and doctors. Ambulance doctors fought for the life of a tourist, but they could not save him.
Local authorities launched an investigation into the incident.
