To fly to Thailand, airlines will have to classify passengers into 3 groups

Airlines that bring tourists to Thailand will have to divide passengers into three groups, and the “third group” is almost recommended to refuse to board. It is, of course, about “crazy” barriers and prohibitions, which the kingdom can not refuse, even though the pandemic has been forgotten around the world. This information was published in the Thai media, citing a report received by international airlines from the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand. It reports on the revised rules of entry into the kingdom.

According to the head of the Suthipong Kongpool Office, all international airlines that deliver tourists to Thailand are obliged to check and classify passengers into 3 groups.

The first “privileged” group is fully vaccinated passengers who arrive unhindered. Only if symptoms of Covid-19 are suspected should they be self-tested with an antigen test.

The second group is unvaccinated or partially vaccinated tourists. They must take an antigen test or PCR test within 72 hours of leaving.

Finally, the third group is the unlucky tourists who received the Thailand Pass QR code. It goes on to say: “According to the CAAT chief, they will be denied boarding, although it depends on the airline.”

The aviation official assured us that the process of registering for Thailand Pass has now become easier and more convenient. “Foreign tourists flying to Thailand and covered by Covid for at least $ 10,000 can register for a Thailand Pass and receive a QR code,” he said.
