Turkey is triumphant: thanks to the excellent weather and good demand from tourists, the summer tourist season in the resorts of Antalya will continue until the end of November. This was announced by the president of the Association of Tourist Hoteliers and Operators of the Mediterranean, Kaan Cavaloglu. According to Turizm Ajansi, he also mentioned the number of working hotels and their discounts.
According to him, one of the ingredients of success was the weather conditions – you can still swim in the sea in Antalya. “The season lasted until the end of November, especially taking into account the growth of demand from Germany and England. Hotel occupancy has reached 70-80%, he said.
Also, according to the Turkish expert, due to the long season, almost a third of the hotels worked longer than usual. “Compared to last year, 30 percent of hotels are closing later this year,” he said.
Another key benefit of the extended season is the lower price. As Kavaoglu said, prices are reduced by 40% depending on the season.
