Singapore authorities plan to lift the quarantine for unvaccinated foreign travelers from August 29. On the simplification of entry rules in the best metropolis in the world, according to the UN, reports CNBC.
The publication stressed that tourists who have not been vaccinated against COVID-19 will no longer have to self-isolate for one week. Now it will be enough for unvaccinated guests of the famous Asian country to present a negative PCR test result 48 hours before departure.
It is also noted that fully vaccinated travelers can enter Singapore without further quarantine and without a coronavirus test. However, not all foreign citizens fall under this rule, but only those who are vaccinated with vaccines recognized by the World Health Organization.
Moreover, from August 29, the mandatory mask regime in buildings and public transport is canceled in the country.
