Thailand expects rush demand for tours to the country after the lifting of quarantine

According to The Bangkok Post, the Thai authorities are counting on a sharp increase in tourist traffic after the resumption of the Test & Go program, which allows foreigners to enter the kingdom without quarantine.

Recall that from February 1, fully vaccinated tourists from any country in the world can enter Thailand without quarantine. The country’s authorities expect that up to 300,000 people will use the Test&Go program in February, and then the tourist flow will only grow.

The publication notes that, according to the authorities, it’s time to adapt to life with the coronavirus and “save the pandemic-hit Thai economy.”
