Swiss airline SWISS has announced that it will cancel 676 flights, or 2 percent of all scheduled flights, between August and October due to a lack of staff, according to DPA.
The company also cited strikes at some airports as reasons for the cancellation of flights, which did not completely subside the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and other capacity problems.
“The aviation system in Europe and around the world is now operating at its limit,” the airline said in a statement.
