SriLankan Airlines has announced that it will suspend flights on the Moscow-Colombo route starting March 28. Information appeared on the website of the carrier.
It is reported that the reason for the termination of flights is operational restrictions, or rather insurance and financial limits imposed on Russia in connection with the war with Ukraine and not dependent on the airline.
When searching for tickets from Colombo to Moscow or back, the information appears on the airline’s website that there are no flights available. Prior to the suspension of flights, Sri Lanka’s national carrier operated two flights a week between Moscow and Colombo.
