Sri Lanka extended visas for Ukrainian tourists by two months

On March 1, the government of Sri Lanka announced a 2-month extension of visas for all Russians and Ukrainians in the country. Currently, there are 3993 Ukrainian tourists on the island.

The return of these people to their homeland is difficult because of the Russian war in Ukraine. Therefore, their visas are being extended without any fee, according to representatives of the government of Sri Lanka.
