Passenger sues airline after flight attendant ruined his tattoo

An upset passenger has sued American Airlines, claiming that a flight attendant ruined her tattoo with hot coffee.

In October 2023, George Latorre was flying from Vietnam to New York, and during the flight he asked a flight attendant to bring him a cup of coffee.

In the lawsuit filed in Manhattan court, Lattore claims that a flight attendant accidentally spilled hot coffee on his left arm, causing him to suffer second-degree burns. According to the man, blisters and peeling formed on his hand, and the wound was bleeding. Ultimately, this led to damage to the tattoo design and now a scar appears in this place.

In the complaint, the passenger alleged that the flight attendant was negligent and served the hot drink in an unsafe manner.

Upon arrival in New York, the man consulted a doctor, who told him that the injury was quite serious. Latorre added that in addition to severe physical pain, he suffered mental suffering and lost sleep due to unpleasant sensations, which will require additional treatment.
