The National Center for Arts and Culture Georges Pompidou in Paris (France) will be closed for five years as part of a large-scale reconstruction project.
According to The Art Newspaper, the Pompidou Center in Paris will be closed from 2025 to 2030 under ambitious new expansion plans announced by center president Laurent Le Bon. During this period, the museum will cooperate with the Grand Palace and the Louvre on several projects.
It is noted that as part of the major renovation, the Pompidou Center will expand to 20,000 square meters due to the space currently occupied by the abandoned bus fleet. Cinemas, areas for thematic exhibitions, and sections of modern creativity will be located on these premises.
