According to Egyptian media, the resort of Hurghada received a record number of tourists over the weekend.
On Saturday, October 1, 17,000 European tourists arrived at the airport resort of Hurghada on 112 flights. This is the largest number of arrivals in the last six months.
Most often, tourists from Germany came to rest from Europe in Hurghada. Hotels and other resort accommodations are also reporting high occupancy.
It is noted that Egyptian tourism is now gradually recovering from the coronavirus pandemic.
