Netflix is stepping off the screen and into the real world. The streaming giant is opening its first Netflix House, a themed entertainment hub set in the suburbs of Philadelphia.
The two-story venue includes escape rooms, mini-golf, shops, a cinema, and a restaurant — all tied to Netflix hits.
Guests can experience One Piece-inspired challenges, Bridgerton and Stranger Things-themed golf holes, and a massive Wednesday area.
When streaming meets reality
To mark the second season of Wednesday, visitors can wander through a spooky fair and step into Wednesday Addams’s recreated dorm room at Nevermore Academy.
Netflix also plans virtual-reality spaces, allowing fans to explore its fictional worlds firsthand.
Marketing director Marianne Lee said the initiative is part of Netflix’s effort
“to stay relevant and bridge the gap between screen and reality.”
A different kind of theme park
Two more Netflix House parks are planned in the U.S. as part of a strategy to build smaller, immersive venues in less glamorous locations.
Unlike Disney’s massive theme parks, which earned over $27 billion in revenue and $8 billion in profit in just nine months, Netflix is aiming for intimate, story-driven spaces.
So far, there’s no word on international expansion — but fans worldwide are already intrigued.
