Experts have presented a list of tourist places that cannot be visited in 2024. Among them are attractions, museums, and galleries, hotels, and restaurants.
Thus, in the French capital of Paris, tourists in 2024 will not have access to the Center Georges Pompidou, one of Europe’s main museums of modern art and industrial design. A large-scale reconstruction begins in the center, which will last until 2030.
Also, Notre Dame Cathedral is still closed. Its recovery is expected to continue until December of this year.
In Copenhagen (Denmark), the Noma restaurant, which has repeatedly become the best establishment in the world, announced the cessation of its activities. From 2025, its owners want to launch a new gastronomic project.
In Berlin (Germany), the Pergamon Museum, included in the Museum Island complex, has closed. The rarest exhibits of this museum will not be visible until 2027 due to the reconstruction of the building.

In Milan (Italy), the Leonardo da Vinci vineyard, once accessible to tourists, was purchased by a private individual. Its owner was French billionaire Bernard Arnault, head of LVMH. There has been no word yet on whether the vineyard will reopen to visitors.
