Airports Council International (ACI) has compiled a rating of air harbors based on the latest data on their loading. More than 2,600 airports in 180 states participated in the rating.
The busiest airport in the world in 2022 was the Atlanta air harbor – it served 93.7 million passengers, 23.8% more than a year earlier.
In second place is Dallas/Fort Worth Airport with 73.4 million travelers. On the third line is Denver Air Harbor (69 million passengers).
The list also includes the airports of Chicago (68 million), Dubai (66.1 million), Los Angeles (65 million), Istanbul (64 million), Delhi (61 million), London (59 million), and Paris (57 million).
