Henley & Partners analysts named the countries with the best conditions for obtaining citizenship by investing in the country.
After analyzing 40 investment programs, the company concluded that the attractiveness of Europe prevails in 2023 as well. The list was compiled based on dozens of criteria, including quality of life, visa-free entry, application processing time, quality of information processing, and more.
For the eighth year in a row, Malta has been ranked the best in the ranking of citizenship programs with the process of obtaining citizenship through naturalization. According to its terms, investors can obtain citizenship after 36 months in resident status (or 12 months in exceptional cases) and after making significant investments in the country’s economy – a minimum of 738 thousand euros.
High places are occupied by Caribbean countries. Investors are attracted by the low cost of participation in the programs, as well as the opportunity to travel without a visa to the Schengen countries, the UK, China, and others.
