According to The Guardian, in Venice (Italy), while riding a gondola, tourists from Asia wanted to take a group selfie and overturned the boat.
The incident took place on the Rio de la Verona canal, next to the La Fenice theater.
At the same time, the gondolier warned tourists that they should not take a group photo, as the boat could capsize. However, the Asian guests ignored his words and gathered on one board to take a group photo.
As a result, the gondola overturned, and everyone in it ended up in cold water. People were caught by rescuers who arrived at the scene. Moreover, one of the tourists was trying to keep her smartphone above the water all this time so as not to get wet and not lose precious footage.
