Russian citizens should be allowed through the Lithuanian border only if they speak out against the special operation or admit that Crimea belongs to Ukraine. This proposal was made by Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis, reports Delfi.
The border guards will make a decision based on the reaction of a person: if the question “Whose is Crimea?” he will answers that he is Russian, he will be banned from traveling to Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, and Poland. According to Landsbergis, the pass of a citizen who believes that the peninsula is not occupied is contrary to the interests of national security.
It is also known that Lithuania is calling on the Schengen countries to ban Russians from issuing visas. If the foreign ministers of the bloc states refuse to make such a decision, the Baltic republic is ready to accept it at the regional level.
