Tourists are regaining their interest in hot air balloon flights with a view of iconic landmarks of the world. The other day, according to the Egyptian mass media, 400 tourists of various nationalities, including Ukrainians and Russians, took to the air at once. Separately, Egyptian newspapers emphasize that there were no conflicts between these tourists.
So, just on Wednesday, 15 flights on balloons were carried out on the west bank of Luxor, on which 400 tourists of various nationalities were lifted into the air. This statement was made by Ahmed Abboud, the official representative of the Federation of Flying Balloons in Luxor. According to him, in particular, tourists from Ukraine and Russia, who arrived from Hurghada, climbed into the sky. There are no conflicts.
Mr. Abboud also stated that tourists are allowed to enjoy observing the monuments, temples of the pharaohs, landscapes, and the Nile River from the sky, subject to strict precautions and prevention, including anti-covid measures.
A representative of the Federation of Ballooning Companies in Luxor emphasized the interest of the Ministry of Civil Aviation in boosting inbound tourist traffic to Egyptian cities, especially Luxor. By the way, it ranks third in the world by the volume of hot air balloon tours.
