A married couple found in the mountains of San Bernardino (California, USA) a man who got lost and spent two weeks in the mountains, DIP reports with reference to Dailymail.co.uk.
The man was found after they heard his screams. Before his trip, the tourist called a taxi to the mountains to go hiking. He wanted to get to Big Bear Lake (a reservoir in the western United States) on his own.
It turned out that the traveler ate half a can of salsa and drank water from a stream for two weeks. He also managed to build a small house for himself.
“He had a stick with a bottle of water on it, he tried to signal. He could not walk, as his legs were very swollen from a long walk and, possibly, from the cold,” said Alisson Scott, who found him.
According to her, after finding the man, she called the police and after 15 minutes a rescue helicopter arrived at the scene. The lost traveler offered the couple money for salvation, but the couple from California refused.
