The weather in the resorts of Egypt will give tourists a New Year’s gift in the form of a pleasant surprise: according to the latest forecasts of the Egyptian Meteorological Department, Hurghada will have sunny, relatively warm weather throughout the New Year’s week and the holidays – +21-22 degrees on average during the day – Sheikh – even a little warmer – around +22-23.
So, the forecast for Hurghada for the New Year’s week is as follows: temperature +21-22 degrees during the day and +14 on average at night. The Red Sea is traditionally quite warm — about +24 degrees stably. Forecasters are not afraid of strong wind or cloudiness. But the main thing is cloudless weather, which allows tourists to sunbathe throughout the daylight hours.
It is also quite warm in Sharm el-Sheikh – from +22 to +23, directly on New Year’s Eve +16 and slight cloudiness is promised. The water temperature in the sea is even a degree, but warmer than in Hurghada — about +25, which is more than comfortable for swimming.
Only tourists who have gathered for excursions are advised to dress warmer. On Mount Sinai, and early in the morning on an excursion to Luxor, there is a risk of meeting temperatures below +10 degrees.
