Germany plans to resume anti-anti-border measures and restrictions on border crossings

Anti-pollution measures, such as the mask regime, at least indoors, as well as new vaccination campaigns and border restrictions, may return to Germany in the autumn.

This is exactly the statement that German Federal Health Minister Karl Lauterbach “made happy” tourists. He said he believed all of these measures were needed to help curb the spread of COVID-19 in the fall and winter.

“Germany needs to prepare for a new wave of coronavirus infections in the colder half of the year. The country needs a new set of rules for autumn and winter, “the minister said, presenting his new seven-point plan. It includes a new vaccination campaign with three different vaccines and changes to the free COVID-19 testing program. Whether they will return to the restriction on entry and exit among these points is not specified.

In September, the “crazy” law on protection against infections expires. It is possible that a new seven-point plan is being prepared to replace it. However, so far, the statement of the Minister of Health, according to the media, is not an official statement. Thus, the German authorities have yet to confirm whether the new rules will be introduced as soon as the summer is over.
