Weddings and ghosts — an unlikely but enchanting match. Starting next spring, couples will be able to tie the knot or renew their vows in a mysterious new venue aboard Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, Disney Destiny.
The ship will feature the Haunted Mansion Parlor, an immersive space inspired by the classic Disney attraction. Guests will find shape-shifting portraits, eerie décor, and an atmosphere filled with mystery — including the ghostly tale of a sea captain and his spectral bride.
Photos and videos released by Disney show a moody, candlelit room bathed in shades of purple, blue, and green, where cobwebs hang from picture frames and mirrors seem to reflect wandering spirits.
The parlor can accommodate up to 23 guests in addition to the couple. Wedding packages include a ceremony, themed décor, and a celebration with cake and champagne elsewhere on the ship.
The Haunted Mansion Parlor will be available for weddings beginning May 14, with Disney Destiny’s inaugural voyage departing November 20 from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
