The Cypriot authorities have decided to simplify the rules for the entry of foreign citizens from April 18. Thus, the republic will cancel the classification of countries by the level of incidence of COVID-19 and abolish the restriction on border crossing based on these data, follows from the statement of the country’s Council of Ministers.
In addition, passengers will no longer be required to complete a CyprusFlightPass before visiting the state. To arrive in Cyprus, tourists must present one of the required documents: a certificate of vaccination against coronavirus, a certificate of illness, the result of a PCR test or a rapid antigen test (the requirement for tests does not apply to persons under 12 years old). Additional checks for the virus after arrival will not be required.
