Charter programs to Egypt on the “wings” of Red Wings announced on its website tour operator “Biblio Globus”. The flights have been announced for the coming dates, the programs have been announced since April 3 from Zhukovsky Airport. These are flights to both Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh, flights are announced with an expansion of two to four flights to Hurghada, to Sharm – two flights a week until the end of April.
The issue of “air sanctions” and their risks – as well as the status of flights has not yet been clarified. However, according to experts, in fact the flights will be charter. As for the risks to airliners – and the program will be run on a Boeing 777-200, it is known that there are four of them in the carrier’s fleet, but their “nationality” in the sense of the register is unknown.
However, in March, according to Kommersant, Red Wings considered increasing their fleet to five in a joint project with a Russian bank. It will be recalled that Egypt also expects to resume flights to Russia, bypassing “air sanctions” from international insurers through de facto state insurance.
Most likely, the tour operator and the carrier in the current conditions have calculated all the risks and received permits for the flight program on the Boeing 777-200 from the Russian aviation authorities, also obtaining the appropriate guarantees and permits from the Egyptian airlines.
It is noteworthy that from April 29, bookings on the Egyptian route in the “Biblio-Globus” are departures on flights of the airline “Russia”. Tours to Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh are available for booking in May with departures on “Russia” flights from Moscow daily.
