An earthquake hit Bodrum, Turkey

An earthquake with a magnitude of 4 occurred today on the coast of the Aegean Sea of Turkey in the city of Bodrum, Mugla district, the Turkish private television company NTV reported.

The quake, reported by the Office for the Management of Natural Disasters and Emergencies (Afad), occurred at 10:49 a.m. local time (9:49 a.m. Kyiv time) in Hekova Bay.

The depth of the epicenter was six kilometers below the surface.

There were no reports of damage or casualties as a result of the earthquake, BTA reports.
