Airlines began allowing passengers to sell tickets to each other

The original method of “getting as many people as possible into flights” was invented in another hemisphere. There, airlines began allowing passengers to sell unclaimed airline tickets to each other.

As the Argentine press writes, it is about the local low-cost airline Flybondi, which has developed a system that allows passengers to exchange tickets directly with each other, using blockchain technology for security.

“By expanding distribution, we aim to give the customer the freedom to do whatever he wants with the ticket,” explained Flybondi CEO Mauricio Sana.

At the same time, the system will first be tested on domestic lines, and then it is planned to open it on international lines as well. The airline expects that the system will involve more people in flights, as this experience has not been done before.
