Hurghada set another record for receiving tourists: last weekend, or more precisely, on Saturday, 101 regular and charter flights were counted at the airport of the resort, mainly from European countries. On average, such a tight schedule meant that during peak periods, airliners boarded at an interval of 15 minutes, and real traffic jams were recorded in the sky from planes waiting for permission to land.
According to the Egyptian mass media, an average of 15,000 tourists arrived at the resort this Saturday. Mostly they are Europeans. German tourists are in the lead in terms of the number of tourists.
The Marsa Alam airport, which is close to Hurghada, has a busy schedule. 121 flights with tourists arrived there in two days. The main countries here are the Czech Republic, Italy, and Poland.
