According to the Phuket News portal, recently a large crocodile was spotted near one of the beaches of the Thai island of Phuket.
The reptile was first spotted in the Cherng Talay area, swimming 200 meters from the shore. The crocodile was then reported to rescuers by fishermen on a speedboat that stopped near Bang Tao Beach. A drone was launched to monitor the movement of the predator, and it turned out that he was heading towards Surin.
In connection with the appearance of the crocodile, Phuket Governor Narong Wunsieu urged tourists relaxing on the beaches of the island to be careful and not lose vigilance.
