Two guards of a Swedish prison were held hostage for nine hours by two prisoners who asked for pizza as a ransom. According to AFP, the guards were released as soon as the food was delivered.
According to prison spokeswoman Steen Lyles, none of the guards were injured.

According to officials, prisoners serving their sentences in Holby’s maximum security prison near the town of Eskilstuna managed to enter a security-only area. “We quickly sent a mediator and called the police,” the prison chief added.

In the end, only food was delivered and the kidnappers were taken to the police station for questioning, police said.
