The British Foreign Office has advised British citizens to refrain from traveling to Ukraine unnecessarily. The updated recommendations were published on Saturday on the website of the ministry, according to media reports.
The recommendations relate specifically to trips to Luhansk Oblast, Donetsk Oblast and Crimea. The statement also said that British citizens were recommended to inform the consular services about their stay in Ukraine.
The ministry warned of the possibility of “rapid developments in Ukraine” due to the “uncertainty about Russia’s intentions.”
