A detachment of US special forces arrived in Ukraine by two planes to participate in military exercises. This is stated in a statement on the website of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
“In the Vinnytsia region, the aviators of the 456th Transport Aviation Brigade named after Dmytro Maiboroda are receiving American colleagues. Soldiers of the 352nd Wing of the Special Operations Forces arrived in Ukraine on two MS-130 military transport aircraft to conduct joint exercises with their Ukrainian counterparts, ”the press release reads.
The agency added that the purpose of the maneuvers is to “increase the level of compatibility between units of partner countries.”
On August 5, the active phase of multinational training Dive-2021 in the Black Sea with the participation of NATO and Ukraine started. Representatives of Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Romania and the United States also take part in them.
