An armed robbery took place in an Apple store in Amsterdam. The robbery occurred at about 17:40 local time. The attackers took hostages, and AT5 reports that witnesses heard shots in an Apple store.
Amsterdam police confirmed the hostage situation on their Twitter account, writing: “Next to the store in question is the owner of the firearm, and there are police with many (specialized) units that monitor the situation.”
