In Italy, a vaccination campaign with the 4th dose of the vaccine against Covid-19 has begun. It applies to people over 60 and people in the risk group over 12. The reason is the increase in the number of infected people.
The campaign also affects those vaccinated with dose 3 who have had the disease, and the fourth dose can be administered 120 days after recovery.
Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will be used. Those who wish can get vaccinated from their doctor, pharmacies, or other 2,300 centers operating for this purpose in the country. The growth rate in the last 24 hours is 20.6%, the number of new infections exceeds 37,000, and the number of deaths is 127. A possible 5-dose campaign is planned for November.
