Italy has reported a record number of people infected with the coronavirus in the 24 hours since the start of the pandemic. According to Reuters, to date, 219,441 new cases of infection have been registered. On the eve of their number was almost 190 thousand.
But despite the increase in the number of new infections today, the number of deaths from coronavirus has decreased compared to yesterday. Today there are 198 of them, and yesterday – 231.
Since the pandemic, more than 6.9 million cases and more than 138,000 coronavirus deaths have been reported in Italy.
