The cyclist set a world record after covering 3,600 km in 8 days

In this world, nothing is impossible for a strong-willed and passionate person, and Adil Teli from Kashmir simply proved that the statement is true. Now the 23-year-old has a Guinness World Record in his name for getting to Kanyakumari in Kashmir in just 8 days 1 hour 37 minutes, and it’s on a bike! With this feat, he broke the previous record in 8 days, 7 hours 38 minutes with 17-year-old Om Mahajan, in November 2020.

Well, this is not the only achievement that Adil has in his liabilities. He is also the record holder as the fastest cyclist to cover 440 km between Srinagar and Lech in just 26 hours and 30 minutes!

Adil is a cyclist from Narbal, Budgam. He began his long stay on March 22, 2022 from Kashmir and reached Kanyakumari, covering 3600 km in 8 days. Of course, it was not an easy feat. This achievement took months of preparation and a lot of hard work. Adil was trained in Amritsar, and he also had a coach to help and guide him.

Adil’s story

Adil is a cyclist from the Narbal Budgama district. He began his long journey on March 22, 2021 through Kashmir and reached Kanyakumari, covering 3600 km in 8 days. Of course, it was not an easy feat. Months of preparation and a lot of hard work went into this achievement. Adil trained in Amritsar, and he also had a coach who helped him.

On March 22, 2021, Adele set off on a journey from the Time Tower to Lal Chowk in Srinagar at 7 o’clock in the morning. He had a bigger goal, but it was not easy because of the pandemic. However, he managed to travel around India and visited Delhi, Agra, Gwalior, Hyderabad, Madurai and others.

For Adil, his journey from Srinagar to Lech was a turning point. The record gave him the impetus to set high goals. He has since waited to break Kashmir Kanyakumari’s world record.
