The most unhappy country in the European Union has been identified

As reported by The Independent, Eurostat conducted a study and named the most unfortunate country in the European Union. This status went to Bulgaria for the second time in a row.

According to the life satisfaction index, Bulgaria was the only EU country to score less than six points (5.6 points out of 10 possible).

At the same time, Austria was recognized as the happiest country, scoring 7.9 points. It is followed in the list by Poland, Finland, and Romania, which each have 7.7 points. Germany scored only 6.5 points this year. The publication’s experts associate this figure with economic stagnation and the migration crisis in this country.

Among the criteria for assessing life satisfaction indicators were the level of education, family and financial stability, leisure time, interaction in society, and others.
