It is time to grant Ukraine membership in the EU, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba insisted on Tuesday.
“I call on the European Union to immediately reject all hesitations and skepticism in some European capitals and to promise Ukraine future EU membership. The time has come. Against this background, this is the best strategic decision Europe can take now.” – said Kuleba at the briefing.

Meanwhile, the European Union is stepping up its cyber response team to help Ukraine cope with Russian attacks, the Lithuanian Deputy Defense Minister said. The decision came after Moscow recognized two regions that had seceded from Ukraine, prompting a backlash from the West and further heightened fears of a possible Russian invasion of the neighboring post-Soviet region.
On Monday, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said Russia was using hybrid tactics to “exacerbate the situation.”
“We are seeing disinformation campaigns, we are seeing cyberattacks. We are seeing openly spread false news about Ukraine, and we are seeing increased military activity,” he told reporters in Brussels.
