Government scholarships for students from Ukraine for the 2019-2020 academic year

The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ukraine announces the government scholarships that the Czech Republic provides as part of its official development assistance to selected students for master’s or doctoral studies at public higher education institutions in the Czech Republic.

These scholarships, designed for a standard period of study, are awarded to students who have successfully completed or will successfully complete a bachelor’s degree program this year and are interested in studying:

  1. according to the master’s educational program according to one’s own choice with teaching in the Czech language. The program also includes an annual preparatory course in the Czech language in combination with other professional training. Depending on the specialty, in most cases applicants must pass the entrance exam to the chosen higher education institution, on the basis of which they receive a scholarship for further study.   2. for a master’s or doctoral educational program with teaching in English in specific higher education institutions. For candidates from Ukraine for the 2019-2020 academic year, about 10 scholarships are provided in the following priority areas: agriculture, chemistry, technical specialties (energy, mining, electrical engineering, construction, transport), social sciences, environment and computer science.

Applications for participation in the competition for the scholarship program are accepted until September 30, 2018. Registration is possible only electronically through the House of Foreign Cooperation at: http://registr.dzs.cz/registr.nsf. Applications submitted in another way will not be accepted.
