The Cypriot authorities have decided to lift the requirement to wear protective masks indoors. This was stated by the head of the Cypriot Ministry of Health, Michalis Hadzipandelas.
According to him, “epidemiological data show a significant improvement in the country.”
So, from August 31, the mask regime in enclosed spaces is canceled, except in high-risk areas: hospitals, nursing homes, places of medical services, pharmacies, and public transport.
In addition, all restrictions on the occupancy of catering facilities, shopping centers, temples, stadiums, and casinos are removed in Cyprus.
