The head of Tesla Inc. Elon Musk will be the subject of a biography of Walter Isaacson, an American author who wrote a bestseller about Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, according to the “Jerusalem Post“.
“If you’re interested in learning about Tesla, SpaceX and what I’m doing, Walter Isaacson is writing my biography,” Musk wrote on Twitter.
Answering questions on social media, Musk said that Isaacson had already interviewed him several times to gather material for the book.
A few months ago, Isaacson compared Mask to Jobs in a Yahoo Finance interview: “In a way, he’s Steve Jobs of our time.”
Isaacson is also the author of books about Benjamin Franklin and Albert Einstein, the latter of which became a TV series called “Genius”.
Musk previously interviewed for Ashley Vance’s biography, published in 2015, before Tesla became the most valuable automobile company in the world and before SpaceX became the first private company to send people into orbit.
A Twitter user who asked if the deal with the book meant Musk would no longer write his book said, “Maybe one day.”
“Finally … someone will break into the silent, mysterious, unrecognizable facade …” – wrote another user on Twitter, to which Musk replied with a smile.
