On July 20, the strongest sandstorm in the last 20 years raged in the Chinese province of Qinghai.
It is noted that the storm swept through areas of Haixi Prefecture. A huge dust cloud obscured almost the entire sky, and a wall of sand covered the highways at high speed, where many drivers did not have time to get to the shelter, they had to hide in cars.
Although Haixi sandstorms typically last up to 15 minutes, on July 20, the natural phenomenon lasted three hours.
Fortunately, there were no victims or injured. Airports also did not stop their work because of the sandstorm.
