A 32-year-old woman was seriously injured after being attacked by a shark on a beach near Adelaide, The Guardian reports.
An Australian woman managed to survive after an encounter with a sea predator – her injuries turned out to be non-life threatening, and timely medical assistance also saved her. According to them, the main blow fell on the victim’s head.
After the incident, the police evacuated all people from the beach, and emergency services and volunteers began searching for the shark, but they could not find it.
It is reported that this is the second shark attack on a person in two weeks in the area. Earlier, a great white shark attacked a 55-year-old surfer. The man died.
“This was the second fatal incident on the Eyre Peninsula this year. The previous victim was a 43-year-old teacher,” police said.
