North Korea
North Korea is another country on the list of the most difficult visa processes. First of all, tourists wishing to visit the country must apply for a visa through state-approved travel agencies, but that’s not all. If your visa is not approved, you will be denied the opportunity to explore the country. There are times when even residents of South Korea are not eligible for a visa.
Somalia
In general, Somalia is classified as one of the most dangerous places in the world for tourists to visit, and tours of the country are generally not recommended. This can be seen from the complex process of obtaining a visa. First of all, entering Somalia as a tourist is not encouraged, and if you somehow gain access to the country, you will be accompanied by a security guard for your safety.
Iran
Iran also has a complex process for verifying visa applicants. Visitors must have a verification code attached through an Iranian travel agency. If you are from the US, UK, Canada, Colombia, Iraq, Jordan, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, you are usually denied a visa on arrival.
Turkmenistan
Turkmenistan is on the list of least visited countries precisely because of its strict visa policy. However, if you still want to visit the country, you may need to complete lengthy visa applications at the State Migration Service. The approval process can take up to a month.
Saudi Arabia
Although obtaining a visa to Saudi Arabia has become easier over the years, there are still some rules that visitors must follow. For example, places like Mecca and Medina are off-limits to non-Muslims.
Chad
Another country on the list is Chad. What makes the visa process so difficult is that there are no standard processing times in the country. The application form is only available in French, so applicants must be fluent in this language.
Butane
With the exception of countries such as India, Bangladesh and the Maldives, obtaining visas to enter the country is difficult. However, you can still enter the country by arranging a trip and ending up paying the consular fee in advance.
Cuba
Cuba is another country that is quite difficult to visit. If you somehow get a travel permit, then you will receive a tourist pink card.
