Not every Russian tourist will now be able to overcome the property limit set by European countries. The new requirement for obtaining Schengen has shocked Russian tourists: to have at least one million in the account, at least 100 thousand rubles of salary (1250 euros), as well as take out insurance for at least €50 thousand plus several other conditions. At least, the vice president of the Alliance of Travel Agencies of Russia (ATA) has now named such conditions as a guarantee for obtaining a Schengen visa. However, even this may not be enough to get the cherished Schengen.
“For a guaranteed visa, a tourist must have a large account, preferably more than 1 million rubles (12,500 euros), and this money should not be in the account for several days, but for more than six months. Next, the salary is taken into account, it should be at least 100,000 rubles, and better than 150,000-200,000,” the expert listed. In addition, the tourist will be required to have insurance for at least €50,000 in case of “unforeseen circumstances” and the need to pay for treatment.
However, under some circumstances, this will not save. For example, for a “clean passport”. The expert reproduces the logic of the “European officials” from the consulates as follows: “A person receives 150,000 rubles and has millions of rubles in his account, but he has never been to any Schengen country in his life – this is suspicious.”
The expert also warns the Russians not to cheat the strict rules even in a small way. Including, the tourist needs to buy tickets and book a hotel. “This happens – tourists try to deceive embassies and make reservations, but do not buy tickets. But a fake reservation will not save, “bugs” who make fake reservations for tourists for money, and provide a “disservice” to tourists: the embassy calls the hotel, and there they say that nothing is booked for such a name, “says the expert. The result is the tourist’s refusal of a visa and a probable “blacklist”.
At the same time, let us remind you that the official average salary in Russia “balances” 61-63 thousand rubles. Even if we assume that 6% of the holders of international passports have an average of twice as high, even among them, not everyone who wishes will be able to get to Europe under such conditions.
