Limit on the length of stay of tourists in India: no more than 90 days per year

According to reports circulated by tourists on social media, India may have made changes to the rules for issuing visas. Some holders of long-term tourist e-Visas claim to have discovered a new restriction indicating that they can stay in the country for no more than 90 days per year under this document. Some of them reported that these rules were changed from February 14, and they received notifications accordingly.

Many tourists who are used to spending long winter holidays in India are now alarmed and are trying to confirm this information.

But attempts to find an answer on the Indian Visa Service hotline have not yet led to a clear answer.
