Finnish border guards deported a Russian for forging documents

Finnish border guards deported a Russian from the Schengen area. He was also banned from entering the countries that signed the agreement for 4 years.

The man tried to leave the EU and return to Russia. He presented a passport with a French multiple-entry visa, but his documents aroused suspicion among the border guards. During the check, it turned out that there were 12 fake stamps on the Russian foreign passport. In the district court of the Kymenlaakso region, the Russian was charged with forging documents and violating the rights of foreigners. According to information, the citizen of the Russian Federation exceeded the period of stay in the European Union by 69 days. A Schengen visa allows you to stay in the countries of the agreement for no more than 90 days within six months. In this case, you can cross the border more than once.

It should be noted that there are many disputes and conflicting statements about crossing the Russian-Finnish border. According to some of our tourists and representatives of the Finnish border service, Russians are carefully examined for the presence of the euro, and if there are suspicions that the currency is not being taken out for personal needs, then it can be confiscated. Other tourists say that they have not encountered such problems and the sanctions have not affected them.
