Croatia plans to enter the Schengen area from January 1, 2023. This was stated by the Prime Minister of this country Andrey Plenkovich.
According to him, Croatia has met all the criteria and is “ready to provide additional clarifications on this matter to anyone who wants it, so that we can enter on January 1.”
The Prime Minister said that he expects a positive decision from the European Parliament on this issue in the coming weeks.
In addition, Plenkovic expressed support for two other countries on the way to joining the Schengen – Bulgaria, and Romania.
