TikTok is one of the most popular mobile applications. And so YouTube decided not to miss the niche of short videos, and therefore launched a platform called Shorts, which is a complete analogue of the Chinese social network.
The new platform is already available in 100 countries. By the way, Ukraine is not among them yet. Thus, YouTube Shorts is an analogue of Instagram Reels, which was invented by Facebook to compete in this field with the Chinese TikTok.
As for the launch of Shorts, the company has already declared success. So, the company said that every day the video on Shorts collects only 6.5 billion views.
